What is the Goal of Meditation?

In this short video, I discuss the number one question I get from experienced meditation students, and whether there are meditation techniques they can use to address their challenge.

does this video add value?  not really.  no big insight here really.

meditation tips

deep theory

big questions

other kw areas:  anxiety, depression, how to calm down, how to attain deep happiness, how to be happy, deep contentment — are these what you are offering, rather than meditation per se?

what you are good at is calming down and staying calm.

notes on this page:

try auto-playing the video with low volume to see how that feels.

then try out the related posts with “top questions” tag

and also fb comments and a good share widget.

that’s it.  when doing the other clone pages, just put your notes on what points you want to make in this space as well.  very cool!

also put your overall QA question list on the page template so you can check it to make sure every video is super-great:

– adds value

– short (under 3 min)

– insightful

– others from your note pad and from VTA training

what is the goal of meditation?

All meditation comes down to just one thing.

The turning-off of your thinking, judging, chattering mind, otherwise known as the Monkey Mind, without

the use of drugs or alcohol or other intoxicants, so that you can be awake and alert to experience, first hand, what’s left over when the monkey mind is gone, what’s actually there when you turn off your thinking mind…  (another video on just this: “what’s left over when the monkey mind is gone?”)

my name is artie wu, i’m the founder of preside meditation, and i’ve been meditating for over 25 years.

and my goal is to teach you how to meditate, in a way that is going to be easy, effortless, relaxing and pleasurable,

so that you can gain the lifelong power to step away from suffering at will, and to immerse yourself in a life of profound happiness and deep contentment.

i invite you to check out the other question and answer videos on this site, and when you are ready, to sign up for a free video series where i will teach you the first essential technique of the preside meditation method, and i’ll actually do it together with you, so that you can try it out for yourself, and experience the profound happiness and deep contentment of great meditation.

thanks for checking us out, and have a great day.
